Over the years, Waltons proved such a success that branches were opened nationwide. Growth continued rapidly and in 1997 Waltons became a member of the Bidvest Group, one of the largest listed companies in South Africa.

Today, Waltons is the leader in home, school and office product supplies and South Africa’s largest stationery and office equipment company. To provide immediate accessibility to goods, reduced costs and better service to our clients, Waltons have bulk warehouses in three regions and a national footprint of over 100 branches. Waltons Retail offers conveniently located retail outlets which provide customers with a broad range of products that include stationery, office furniture, scholastic supplies,  promotional gifts, IT supplies and the latest addition, specialized filing which includes the acquisition of the well known company Optiplan.
