Waltons Order Wizard (WOW)

File size: 1. 041KBThis is an electronic catalogue where orders can be placed via email. We provide clients with a Visual Basic Program, which is installed onto each buyer's PC. This is a stand-alone program residing on the C drive of the relevant PC.

This is an extremely user friendly program.

There are over 4000 customers nationally using this method of ordering.

This program has the look and feel of our web site, however it is extremely fast as it is running on the local machine. Each buyer will retain his own transaction history as well as being able to run usage reports. Customer-specific contracts as well as a base catalogue are loaded onto the system.

It is fantastic as it empowers the buyer to make the correct purchasing decision as the buyer will be able to see pictures and pricing of Waltons quality stationery.


All pricing is updated via an email attachment in the form of a self-extracting file or may be downloaded from the www.waltonswow.co.za website. The buyer can choose which Waltons Store he would like to fulfil the order. In the event of the buyer purchasing for more than one branch, orders can be sent to national Waltons branches for delivery, thus saving your company on transport costs. Orders are received at the branches in the form of an email. The buyer receives a email confirmation that the order has been received.

Requirements for each PC that you would like the program installed on:
32MB RAM
50 MB hard drive space
VGA or higher resolution display
Windows 98 / NT v4.0 service pack 4 or above / XP
CD Rom drive or USB port
Email address


This is a service Waltons is offering to account customers . There are no costs involved. All the necessary support, training and installations are provided for by Waltons.
